Ting Zhang
I am currently an Associate Professor in Statistics at the University of Georgia. Before joining the University of Georgia, I was Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Statistics Program at Boston University. I also spent two years at The University of Iowa as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science. I obtained my Ph.D. in Statistics from The University of Chicago in 2012, and was jointly advised by Professor Wei Biao Wu and Professor Lars Peter Hansen. I graduated with a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Fudan University in 2007.

I have been serving on the Editorial Board of Statistica Sinica as an Associate Editor since 2020.

I was a co-organizer for the BU-Keio Workshop, and chaired or organized sessions for the BU-Keio-Tsinghua Workshop, the International Conference on Econometrics and Statistics (EcoSta), the Georgia Statistics Day, the New England Statistics Symposium (NESS), and the Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM). I was also on the local organizing committee for StatFest 2018, an initiative of the American Statistical Association (ASA) through its Committee on Minorities in Statistics, to promote the role of underrepresented groups.
